Chinanina: The Great wall finally!/ Endlich die chinesiche Mauer!

So, this is actually quite a funny story. I tried to send several letters to Germany, which is a challenge in itself, since my Chinese is still really bad and definately not advanced enough for the post office. However, since this is China, there had to be more than this one challenge. It turns out that Yumen is too small for sending international mail and I found this out in the following way: I send a letter to my grandpa in Germany, which got there just fine and was actually cheap. A few weeks later I send a letter to my grandma in Germany. That one, however, came back TO ME after 10 days, although I did not write my adresse on the envelope!? Go figure! So I tried again with a friend who speaks Chinese. On that occasion we were told that the two postoffices we had been so far and the third we heard about are not the right ones to send international letters that we had to go to a forth one (imagine that barely 30.000 people but 4 post offices!). Anyway, so we went to that one and from there I was able to send my letter to my grandma. At the same time I also wanted to send a slightly bigger letter to a friend of mine. They gave me a very fancy envelope and some papers to fill out, so everything looked correct. About one week later, I went to the same post office, because my friend wanted to send something, but instead of sending of her package they handed me my letter back, which had been at their save for some days already. So then they finally figured out and told us that they are not able to send international mail and that we have to go to the next town of Jiayuguan to do so. That is how we ended up seeing the Great Wall, finally, since it ends in Jiayuguan. There is the last piece ever build! So here are some pictures:
